Las Azaleas

Tucson’s own all-Latina musical group. Formed by Diana Olivares in the summer of 2020, Las Azaleas embark on a mission to share the works of pioneering women in Latin music through their performances. Their sound is influenced by mariachi, trio, and bolero music, and the repertoire performed is selected to help further acknowledgement of incredible Latina artists of the past and present.
Las Azaleas are proud to represent Latina women in music and have had the honor of being appointment musical directors for the All Souls Procession Finale Ceremony in 2021. Working with ActOne in 2021, Las Azaleas filmed performances that have reached over 10,000 Arizona students via virtual reality excursions provided by ActOne.
