Kathi Huhtaluhta strives to bring harmony and peace through cultural exchange and collaborates with artists all over the world. Huhtaluhta has toured Europe and has been a highlighted performer at the renown “Kaustinen” Music Festival in Finland. Kathi has promoted local groups to perform and helped to bring the prestigious USA FinnFest Festival to the “Old Pueblo” in 2011. She states: “The Finns have a history in Arizona! They were rebels and advocated for human rights and equality in The Bisby mine! Because of this, they were rounded up in the middle of the night and forcibly ran out of Bisby. They insisted on better work conditions and equal rights for the workers….”I am proud of the Finnish uprising in Bisby and for Finns all over the world for their attempts to bring justice to the world.” “Ms. Huhtaluhta just recently returned in July 2023 from Finland and Norway to experience her culture and visit her roots and family there.
