Grupo Gardenia

We are primarily a duo and have been performing together since 2018 in this project. Melissa is the vocalist and flautist. Victor is the guitar player. We started playing together out of demand when we would receive calls for a mariachi group and did not have one available. We would offer the duo instead and some of the same songs adopted for the duo’s style. We regularly invite other local musicians to collaborate with us. We play music from Latin America and Mexican traditional folk music.
