Dr. Maribel Alvarez, Festival Co-director

Dr. Maribel Alvarez, Co-director of Tucson Meet Yourself, holds the Jim Griffith Chair in Public Folklore at the Southwest Center, University of Arizona. She is the co-founder of the Southwest Folklife Alliance, which produces the festival every year.
