The Ukrainian American Society of Tucson brings together community members who practice, preserve, and share traditional Ukrainian arts and crafts. Our artists and culture bearers learned these traditions through family, community, and continued study, carrying forward skills and knowledge passed through generations. Through pysanky, embroidery, icon painting, and other traditional crafts, we celebrate Ukraine’s diverse cultural heritage and share it with audiences in Southern Arizona. Participation in community festivals, workshops, and cultural events allows us to keep these traditions alive while introducing them to new generations.
