My beadwork is designed with incorporating Tohono Oodham baskets and with Shoshone symbols. I’ve learned to bead by observing my mother and siblings. I incorporate the different designs of my two tribes into my creation pieces. It’s important to me to pass on the tradition of beading to the future generation, so that my tribe’s legacy will live on.
