Tohono O'odham, Indigenous

Food Vendor

The O’odham Ladies proudly share traditional Indian Fry Bread, also known as popovers, a beloved food of the Tohono O’odham people of Arizona. Our recipe has been passed down
through generations, preserving the knowledge and traditions of our elders. Made from simple ingredients, frybread is fried until golden and can be enjoyed on its own or topped with honey,
powdered sugar, cinnamon, beans, or red chili. It is also the foundation of the popular Indian Taco, topped with savory ingredients and fresh vegetables
More than a meal, frybread represents family, community, resilience, and the sharing of culture through food.
