My nana, who raised me, began teaching me how to sew when I was in the third grade on her old Singer sewing machine. Both my maternal and paternal grandmothers inspired me to create sewing and artwork through their creations, which warmed the hearts of many recipients. Inspired by my paternal grandmother’s hand-quilted throw quilts made from recycled old jean pants, I create quilts with love and care, hoping the person who adopts them will cherish them for many years to come.
