Empanadas are a popular street food in the Dominican Republic, where they are called “pastelitos.” Owner Wander Pérez, a former Dominican professional baseball player who moved to Tucson in 2010 and retired from baseball in 2019, opened his food truck in 2021 because he wanted to share his culture and pride with his new community. You don’t want to miss our 5 different savory empanadas, the Fritos con Salami and Chuleta Frita. Especially, trying the unique Morir Soñando drink is a MUST, it has been fascinating Tucsonans! We also have other natural juices and smoothies. Can’t wait to see you there.
