Empanadas are a popular street food in the Dominican Republic, where they are called “pastelitos.” Our owner is Wander Perez, a professional baseball player who moved to Tucson in 2010 and retired from baseball in 2019. Ever since, he wanted to open a empanadas food truck here Tucson! So on June 21, 2021, we did! So far, our empanadas and the Morir Soñando drink have been fascinating Tucsonans.
