Ongoing Demonstrations and “Talking Tent”
This year 50 folk and traditional artists demonstrate and share work throughout the duration of the festival. No hands-on activities, but you can watch the artists at work and, in some cases, purchase their work.
New this year, a Talking Tent hosts select artists on Friday, Saturday & Sunday 12-1:30pm, 2-3:30pm, and 4-5:30pm. Hear from paper flower makers, potters, jewlers, henna artists, and more. Listen to artists’ stories about their life and work and gain a deeper understanding of important cultural traditions. See the schedule here.
