That’s what connects me to my culture, my faith. My greatest disappointment was to find out that I have ailments. In 2012 I found out that I was sick with an auto-immune condition. That was very hard. Fybromyalgia, Hashimoto’s thyroid issues, and others. My greatest joy was to find out that that wasn’t going to stop me from living. And that is the biggest joy you can ever imagine. If anything, I live stronger now.
