Meredith is a professional performance artist, who has been a part of various dance companies around the US. She is the founder and executive director of Taking Up Space dance company, which supports dancers and choreographers, who identify as women of the global majority, to showcase their work. She is trained n a variety of dance styles, and is especially passionate about raising awareness of vernacular jazz dance, and reminding others of its history.
