We were in a music school and they were in a group together because they’re sisters, of course. I got more advanced and so the teacher put me in the group and that’s how we got together and started. We like Norteño music. It’s our traditional music. When we play, it’s like Mexican instruments and when everybody smiles at us, it makes us happy. I feel it in my heart that I belong with the music, it’s tradition. I like it when people start dancing. That brings me so much joy because I know they’re enjoying while we’re playing.
